Il Museo Diocesano d’Arte Sacra di San Miniato in occasione della 45° edizione della Mostra Mercato del Tartufo Bianco di San Miniato che si terrà il 14-15, 21-22, 28-29 Novembre e anche per il 5 e il 6 Dicembre, rafforza le proprie proposte culturali, nell’ intento di offrire ai visitatori un’occasione unica affinché il gusto delle specialità enogastronomiche possa essere complementare alla conoscenza del patrimonio storico artistico del nostro territorio.
Ogni sabato mattina dalle ore 10:00 alle 13:00, compresa nel prezzo del biglietto del Museo, i turisti saranno accompagnati da una guida alla scoperta delle opere d’arte in esso contenute.
Un viaggio culturale dal 1300 al 1700 per conoscere autori d’eccellenza tra i quali il miniatore giottesco Neri da Rimini, il pittore tardo medievale Neri di Bicci, Lodovico Cardi detto “Il Cigoli”, protagonista della riforma pittorica fiorentina allo scadere del XVI secolo, ma anche gli originali Bacini Ceramici del XII secolo provenienti dalla facciata della Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta e San Genesio e molte altre opere.
Il Campanile della Cattedrale di San Miniato, detto anche “Torre di Matilde”, unica testimonianza originale dell’architettura militare del XII secolo, dal quale è possibile ammirare un inconfondibile panorama, sarà aperto il sabato dalle 10 /13 – 14/ 17, mentre la domenica, straordinariamente, effettuerà orario continuato dalle ore 11 alle 17.
In collaborazione con la Corale Mons. Cosimo Balducci, per la sesta edizione di “Tartufonie”, domenica 6 Dicembre alle ore 16:30 nel Museo Diocesano si terrà un concerto di musica classica interpretato dal duo Costanza Costantino (violino) e Antonella Costantino (violoncello), per un’ imperdibile esperienza acustica a completamento della fascinazione visiva suggerita dall’arte.
Infine, il Museo offre, su prenotazione, la possibilità di effettuare visite guidate in italiano e in inglese tra le bellezze monumentali della città di San Miniato.

The taste of art
The Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art of San Miniato, during the 45th edition of the Market Exhibitition of White Truffle of San Miniato that will take place the 14th-15th, 21st-22nd, 28th-29th November and the 5th and 6th December, reinforces its own cultural events, with the intent of offering to the visitor an unique opportunity in order that the special taste of food and wine with truffle can be complementary to the knowledge of historical and artistic heritage of our territory.
Every Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., included in the price of the museum’s ticket, the tourist will be accompanied by a guide to the discover of the artworks of the museum.
A cultural travel from 1300 to 1700, so you can know excellent artists, among which the miniaturist from the School of Giotto Neri da Rimini, the late medieval painter Neri di Bicci, Lodovico Cardi called “Il Cigoli”, protagonist of the florentine pictorial reform at the end of the Sixteenth century, but also the original Ceramic Basins of the Twelfth century from the front of Saint Mary and Saint Genesio’s Cathedral and many other artworks.
The bell tower of San Miniato’s Cathedral, called also “Tower of Matilde”, the only testimony of the original military architecture of the Twelfth century, from which it’s possible to admire an incredible view, will be open Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m., while Sunday, extraordinarily, will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..
In collaboration with the Corale Monsignore Cosimo Balducci, for the sixth edition of “Tartufonie”, on Sunday 6th December at 4:30 p.m. in the Diocesan Museum will take place a concert of classic music played by the duo Costanza Costantino (violin) and Antonella Costantino (cello), for an incredible acoustic experience with a fantastic visual experience suggested by the art.
In the end, the Museum offers, by reservation, the possibility of guided tours in Italian or in English among the monumental beauty of the town of San Miniato.
